Umbrosa Aurelis: Cantilever by Monica Armani
Aurelis is the collection designed for Umbrosa by the Italian architect Monica Armani. The name comes from ‘hora aurea’, the golden hour, when light transforms an outdoor space into something special. Aurelis is that guardian of the moment. Shade beautiful enough to deserve the light it intercepts.
It’s a cantilever parasol with 360-degree rotation. The standout feature: it closes directly above a table or furniture without moving anything first. Most cantilever parasols can’t do that.
The frame is finished in Grey Beige (RAL 1019) with a polished marine-grade steel crank and matching protection cover. The integrated rib design gives the Aurelis a clean, uncluttered profile. Available in three formats: square 3x3m, square 4x4m, and rectangle 4.25x3m, with a full palette of fourteen canopy colours including Marble, Canvas, Terra, Nectar, Lin, Apio, Flanelle, Acqua, Taupe, Sand, Natural, Grey, Black, and Avena. Multiple base options are available: concrete anchorage, tile base, and flat base configurations.
Good for: Dining terraces, pool areas, contemporary villa projects, any space where closing the parasol without moving furniture is a priority
