Outdoor Dining Chairs
A dining chair is the piece of outdoor furniture you use most and notice least, until it is uncomfortable. On a Costa del Sol terrace it also has to survive sun, salt air and the occasional storm without fading, warping or rusting.
We represent dining chairs from eleven furniture brands, all made to order in your choice of frame finish, weave and fabric.
By material
Teak
The most durable natural material for outdoor seating. Left untreated it weathers to silver-grey; oiled once a year it keeps its warm tone. Gloster’s Kay and Ethimo’s Kilt, both in teak, are among our best-selling dining chairs.

Aluminium
Powder-coated aluminium needs no sealing and does not rust, which makes it the low-maintenance choice for coastal terraces. Kettal, Ethimo, Fast and Point all make excellent aluminium dining chairs.
Woven fibre
Hand-woven synthetic fibre over an aluminium frame, comfortable without cushions and light enough to move easily. Dedon’s hand-woven Caladio is one of our best-selling dining chairs.
Comfort and proportions
A good outdoor dining chair has a seat height of around 45cm to sit with a standard 74 to 76cm table. Armchairs need more space between chairs, roughly 60 to 65cm per place against 55cm for chairs without arms. We can advise on how many fit your table and terrace.
Matching or mixing
Most of our collections offer a matching dining chair and table. Mixing works too: a teak table with woven chairs, or aluminium chairs around a ceramic top. Come and try them side by side in the showroom.
