Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat Controls
Affinity is Bromic’s control system for its heaters. With it, the heaters are switched on and off or dimmed from the Bromic Smart-Heat app on a phone, one by one or in zones (the pool terrace, the dining area, the covered loggia), with timers and heating schedules, and by voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Home. It also connects to a villa’s home automation or a hotel’s building management.
The range
On/Off controllers
One, two or five channels, up to 6 kW per channel, for electric and gas Platinum and Tungsten heaters.
Dimmer controllers
The same one, two or five channels, to turn the heat down as well as on and off. Dimmers work with electric heaters only, not with gas.
Expansion board
Adds Ethernet and building management connection to the one- and two-channel controllers.
Smart-Heat app
For iPhone and Android: heaters one by one or in zones, with timers, schedules and voice control.
Eclipse controllers, for the Eclipse pendant, in one or five channels, and for the Eclipse portable.
How it connects
The one- and two-channel controllers connect to the Bromic Smart-Heat app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; the app is on the App Store and Google Play. The five-channel controllers connect to an Ethernet network, or to a building management or home automation system through 0–10 V inputs, and the expansion board adds the same to the smaller models.
Home automation
Through Ethernet or the 0–10 V inputs, the heating zones can be run from the same system as the lighting, the blinds and the audio. We work with the villa’s integrator to connect it.
