Outdoor Heating: Extend Your Terrace Season Year-Round

Home · Outdoor heating

Marbella has mild winters, but evenings cool quickly from October to April. With the right heating, a terrace that would sit empty for five months becomes a living space all year round.

Bromic Heating: The Architect’s Choice

We have specified outdoor heating since 2009 and are Bromic’s official distributor in Spain and Portugal. Bromic designs heaters as architectural elements: slim, flush-mounted and refined. Explore Bromic Heating.

Four Bromic Platinum Electric heaters recessed in a white ceiling above a timber dining table and outdoor kitchen, with a large antique urn and a garden behind

Platinum Smart-Heat

Slim enough to recess flush into a ceiling. Electric in 2.3, 3.4 and 4.5 kW, in black or white, with Affinity controls, the Smart-Heat app and home automation.

Two Bromic Eclipse Portable heaters arching over set dining tables at dusk, in front of a white Spanish-style mansion with cypresses and bougainvillea

Eclipse

A round electric heater: a pendant for pergolas and ceilings with its own dimmable LED light, or a portable on a weighted base with castors that plugs into a socket.

Black Bromic Tungsten Electric heater glowing under the glass roof of a restaurant patio with birch trees, wooden tables and white parasols

Tungsten Smart-Heat

Bromic’s most powerful series: electric in 2, 3, 4 and 6 kW, and gas, including the Tungsten Portable on wheels, for directed heat across wide areas.

Infrared Heating: Why It Works Outdoors

Conventional heaters warm the air, and outdoors the air simply moves away. Infrared warms people and surfaces directly, like sunlight, which is why it works on open and semi-covered terraces.

Smart Control

Bromic’s Affinity controllers group heaters into zones that you switch and dim from the Smart-Heat app, by voice with Alexa or Google Home, or from the villa’s home automation, with timers and schedules.

Survey and Specification

We survey the terrace (ceiling height, area, mounting surface and power or gas supply), draw up a heating layout and coordinate the installation.
