Parasols: Precision Shade for Every Outdoor Space
A parasol is not simply shade. The right parasol defines the architecture of your outdoor space, creating structure, enclosure, and the feel that no ceiling or awning can replicate. The wrong one fails in the first Marbella Levante, fades within a season, and undermines everything around it.

Outdoor Concepts was founded in 2009, with Tuuci among its first brands, and has worked across the Costa del Sol from San Pedro de Alcántara since 2014. We represent three parasol makers: Tuuci (USA), Umbrosa (Belgium), and Scolaro (Italy). Each brand leads its category. Together, they answer every brief.
Our Parasol Brands
Tuuci: Marine-Grade Engineering from the USA
Tuuci was built for performance in conditions that destroy lesser products. Marine-grade aluminium frames, UV-resistant Solution Dyed Acrylic canopies, and stainless steel hardware designed for coastal exposure. The Ocean Master MAX is Tuuci’s large-format parasol, available as cantilever or center post configuration. Explore Tuuci.

Umbrosa: Belgian Craftsmanship, Intelligent Design
Umbrosa designs shade systems differently. The Spectra’s flat canopy folds horizontally against its pole, like a fan, and its ribs are flexible fibreglass on an aluminium frame. The Versa is a cantilever and the Nata a classic center-pole parasol, both built to the same Belgian standard of craftsmanship. Explore Umbrosa.

Scolaro: Italian Design Since 1974
Scolaro has made parasols in Italy since 1974. Its Galaxia collection is retractable, with opening and closing assisted by a gas spring, so it opens and closes above tables and chairs without moving the furniture. Explore Scolaro.
Choosing the Right Parasol
Size & Coverage
Match the parasol to the area you need to shade. A single dining table (typically 2x1m) usually needs a canopy of about 3 × 3 metres. A large lounging terrace will require multiple parasols or a single large-format model, potentially 6x6m or larger. Our team will calculate the coverage your space requires.

Center Post vs. Cantilever
Central pole parasols provide structural stability and work well when a clean central support suits the furniture layout. Cantilever (offset) parasols project the canopy away from the base, leaving the area beneath completely clear. This is better for sunbeds, dining, or where a central post would get in the way. Both configurations are available across our brand portfolio.
Wind Exposure
Coastal terraces on the Costa del Sol experience both the Levante (easterly) and Poniente (westerly) winds, often with little warning. No parasol should stay open in strong wind: close it when the wind rises and whenever the terrace is left unattended. We will ask about your terrace orientation and wind exposure before recommending a model and its anchoring.
Canopy Fabric
Premium parasol canopies use Solution Dyed Acrylic or Solution Dyed Polyester. The colour runs throughout the fibre, not just on the surface. They resist fading, are water-resistant and clean easily. We won’t specify any other canopy material for permanent installations.
Installation & After-Sales Support
Every parasol we supply is delivered and installed with professional anchoring, the right base for your surface and an on-site demonstration. We advise on ballast weights, ground anchors, and surface fixings. After-sales support, canopy replacement, and winter storage advice are all part of what we do.
