Parasols in Marbella: The Specialist You Need
Searching for a parasol in Marbella means dealing with garden centre products, import catalogues, and online retailers with no experience of coastal conditions. Outdoor Concepts is different. We are parasol specialists with seventeen years’ experience supplying and installing luxury parasols, on the Costa del Sol since 2014.

We represent Tuuci (USA), Umbrosa (Belgium), and Scolaro (Italy). We stock canopy samples and several models in our San Pedro de Alcántara showroom, and we deliver and install across the Costa del Sol, from Sotogrande to Málaga.
What Makes a Parasol Right for Marbella?
Marbella’s climate makes specific demands: strong sun for most of the year, salt air near the coast, and changeable wind, including the Levante and the Poniente. A parasol for these conditions needs a marine-grade frame (aluminium or stainless steel), Solution Dyed Acrylic fabric and stainless hardware, and it should be closed whenever the wind rises.

Every parasol we recommend meets these standards. We do not sell products we would not use on our own terrace.
Our Parasols in Marbella
Tuuci’s Ocean Master is its marine-grade core range. The Umbrosa Spectra folds horizontally against its pole, like a fan, and the Scolaro Galaxia opens and closes with the help of a gas spring. Canopy sizes run from under 2 metres to 7.3 metres for the largest Tuuci MEGA MAX.

Parasol Installation in Marbella
Every parasol we supply is delivered and installed by our team, with the base specified for your surface, fixed or ballasted as needed, and a demonstration on site. We work on both private terraces and commercial projects. Consultation is free; site visits are available throughout the Costa del Sol.
FAQ: Parasols in Marbella
How much does a quality parasol cost in Marbella?
Quality luxury parasols from Tuuci, Umbrosa, or Scolaro range from approximately €2,000 for a smaller model to €8,000+ for the largest models. The price reflects genuine engineering, material quality, and expected lifespan.

What should I do with a parasol when the wind picks up?
Close it. Tuuci recommends closing the Ocean Master MAX and M1 when the wind passes 40 km/h, and allows up to 72 km/h for the MEGA MAX and the MAX F-1 fixed with its in-ground anchor; Scolaro says to close the parasol whenever there is wind. For exposed terraces we recommend the model and its anchoring together, and any parasol should be closed when the terrace is left unattended.

How long does delivery take?
It depends on the brand and the specification. For Tuuci, selected models are in our showroom for immediate delivery. Tuuci’s European stock, in the Netherlands, ships in one to three weeks, or usually four to six with your choice of fabric and personalisation. The rest of the range is made to order in Miami, usually in three to four months. Air freight can shorten this, at an extra cost. For Umbrosa and Scolaro, we confirm the current lead time with your quote.
