Bromic Heating: Infrared Heaters from Australia

Home · Outdoor heating · Bromic

Bromic designs outdoor heaters as if appearance mattered as much as performance. Founded in Australia, a country serious about outdoor living, it makes infrared heaters that architects specify partly for the way they look.

Outdoor Concepts is the official Bromic distributor across Spain and Portugal. We have supplied Bromic heaters for private villa terraces from Sotogrande to Benahavís and for restaurants and hotels across the Costa del Sol. We can specify and support projects anywhere in Spain and Portugal.

The Bromic Range

Four Bromic Platinum Electric heaters recessed in a white ceiling above a timber dining table and outdoor kitchen, with a large antique urn and a garden behind

Platinum Electric

Bromic’s most architectural heater, from 2.3 to 4.5 kW, in black or white. Its tinted glass-ceramic front gives off almost no light.

Eclipse

A round heater with a ceramic screen: a pendant with its own dimmable LED light, or a freestanding model on a weighted base with castors.

Black Bromic Tungsten Electric heater glowing under the glass roof of a restaurant patio with birch trees, wooden tables and white parasols

Tungsten Electric

Bromic’s most powerful electric heater, from 2 to 6 kW, for large terraces, pergolas and restaurant terraces.

Bromic Tungsten Portable gas heater glowing at night on a restaurant terrace with string lights, set tables and greenery

Tungsten Portable

The gas Tungsten on wheels. It runs on an LPG bottle and needs no wiring, so it goes wherever the heat is needed.

Electric Heaters

Most of the Bromic heaters we supply are electric: no gas supply, no flame and no bottles to change. Three electric families cover almost any terrace, and all three are on display and in stock at our San Pedro de Alcántara showroom.

Platinum Smart-Heat Electric

2.3, 3.4 or 4.5 kW, for roughly 6, 10 or 12 m². It mounts on a wall, a pole or a ceiling, or recessed flush into it, in black or white. The tinted glass-ceramic front gives off very little light, so the heater reads as part of the architecture rather than as a lamp.

Eclipse Smart-Heat Electric

3 kW, for around 10 m². The pendant hangs from a pergola or ceiling and carries a dimmable LED light; the portable stands on a weighted base with castors and moves with the furniture. Three heat settings, and best installed under cover.

Tungsten Smart-Heat Electric

From 2 to 6 kW, for up to about 13 m² per heater. IPX4 rated, in black or white. The choice for large terraces, covered pergolas and restaurant terraces where output matters most.

Smart-Heat Technology

Smart-Heat is the name Bromic gives to its heaters and their controls. With the Bromic Smart-Heat app, Platinum, Eclipse and Tungsten heaters are switched on and off or dimmed from a phone, one by one or in zones, with timers and heating schedules, and by voice with Amazon Alexa or Google Home. They also connect to the home automation of a villa or the building management of a hotel.

Bromic Affinity Smart-Heat Controllers

Affinity is the range of Bromic controllers behind the Smart-Heat app: they group the heaters into zones, switch or dim each zone on its own, and connect to home automation.

Affinity On/Off

One, two or five channels, up to 6 kW each, for electric and gas Platinum and Tungsten, so the pool terrace, the dining area and the covered loggia can each be switched on their own.

Affinity Dimmer

The same one, two or five channels, with the heat turned down as well as on and off as the evening cools.

Eclipse controls and home automation

Affinity controllers made for the Eclipse pendant and portable, and an expansion board that adds Ethernet and 0–10 V connection for home automation or building management.

Gas Heaters

Tungsten Smart-Heat Portable

The gas heater we recommend for terraces without a power supply: about 11 kW from an LPG bottle, on wheels, with a tilting head and nothing to install.
