An EcoSmart burner is the heart of every bioethanol fire: a stainless steel fuel box that burns bioethanol with a real flame, with no flue, gas line or electricity. On its own it turns a fireplace opening, a stone surround or a bespoke fire feature into a working fire, indoors or outdoors. We supply EcoSmart burners from our showroom in San Pedro de Alcántara.

Convert a Wood-Burning Fireplace

Many villas have a wood-burning fireplace that is hardly ever lit: logs to store, smoke, ash and a chimney to sweep. A bioethanol burner set into the existing hearth brings it back to life with a real flame that lights and goes out in seconds, with no smoke, soot or ash, and no flue needed. For a traditional look, EcoSmart’s fireplace grates hold the burner inside a steel grate, so the converted fireplace still reads as a log fire.

Indoors and Outdoors

The same burners work in an interior fireplace and in an outdoor fire feature: built into a stone or concrete surround, a bespoke fire table, a terrace wall or a planter. Each one is filled with bioethanol, lit with a long lighter and put out with the closing tool; burn time depends on the model and on how far the flame is turned up.
