When one parasol has to cover the whole terrace

The MEGA MAX is the largest parasol Tuuci builds, and it exists for spaces where a standard parasol simply runs out of canopy. Beach clubs, hotel pool decks, restaurant terraces and other large hospitality spaces: the kind of space where the shaded area is measured in tables rather than seats.

The engineering is scaled to match. A mast of 13.3 centimetres with a four-channel aluminium extrusion, a marine-grade stainless steel vision hub, and a structure Tuuci builds to withstand sustained winds of up to 72 kilometres per hour when it is fixed with Tuuci’s in-ground anchor. Tuuci designs the MEGA MAX to be serviced rather than replaced, which on a commercial terrace is the difference between a purchase and a recurring cost.

The four MEGA MAX options

Very large white square Tuuci Ocean Master MEGA MAX Classic center post parasol with a wood-finish mast covering rows of dining tables in a garden courtyard, with a second one behind and palms beyond

MEGA MAX Classic, square

Four sizes: 4.9, 5.5, 6.1 and 7.3 metres. The most efficient shape over rows of loungers or aligned tables.

Large white rectangular Tuuci Ocean Master MEGA MAX Classic center post parasol shading a row of white sun loungers beside a hotel pool, with palm trees and high-rise buildings behind

MEGA MAX Classic, rectangular

Three sizes: 4.2 by 6.1, 4.9 by 7.3, and 5.5 by 7.3 metres. Built for long terraces and runs of sunbeds, where a square canopy wastes shade at the corners.

Two large round gray Tuuci Ocean Master MEGA MAX Classic center post parasols covering the tables and woven chairs of a restaurant terrace, with stone steps and trees around

MEGA MAX Classic, round

Three sizes: 4.9, 6.1 and 7.3 metres. The softest of the three silhouettes, and the one that sits best in landscaped settings.

Large Tuuci Ocean Master MEGA MAX Voilare center post parasol with a scalloped white canopy, navy piping and a wood-finish mast shading bistro tables and chairs on a paved garden terrace under tall trees

MEGA MAX Voilare

A round canopy of 6.1 metres carried on twenty-four arched ribs. The frame becomes the feature: seen from underneath, the rib structure is the reason to choose it. Where the Classic disappears into the architecture, the Voilare is the architecture.
